Almost anyone can make a referral to CAVA.  Simply call our office and we can get things started almost immediately.  Whether you want to meet with someone in our office or talk via phone, CAVA is available 24 hours a day. CAVA provides confidential, supportive counseling, advocacy, accompaniments, information, and referrals to victims of sexual violence.  CAVA offers support to men, women, and children that have been sexually assaulted.  We help not only the primary victim but the secondary victim as well.  This includes mom, dad, and even brothers and sisters.   For any child who is in school, you can either call our office or look up a counselor in your school district.  A counselor/advocate will then request the signing of a release form either by mail or in person. The release form must be signed by the parent/legal guardian of the child.  Once the release form is signed, CAVA is able to meet with the person in need of services.  There are no fees for  CAVA's services. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions you may have, we are here to help.  CAVA also has educational programs available to the public.
